The Bands and Choir are busily preparing for performances this month.  Our Choir and Senior Band will perform at Concert Showcase, to be held this year at West Kings Diistrict High School on Thursday, April 16, 7:00.  This is a gala evening featuring students from Berwick, Dwight Ross, Kingston, Pine Ridge, St. Mary’s and West Kings.  Admission is $3 adult, $1.50 senior or student or $7 family.  Proceeds provide a music scholarship for each school to be used for further “Arts” study, such as band, choir or drama camp, or private lessons in the “Arts”.

The Beginner and Intermediate Bands will be participating in the Annapolis Valley Music Festival in Wolfville on Monday, April 27.  Performances will take place in Denton Hall, Acadia University, and are open to the public for a small admission.  The Beginner Band plays at 11:15, and the Intermediate Band at 3:45.  Parents wishing to go along to chaperone (and listen free of charge) are asked to contact Mrs. Keddy asap.

The Senior Band will be attending the Atlantic Band Festival in Halifax on Friday, May 1.   They will be performing at 9:30 at Mount St Vincent University.
